Let start with what is fascia as this will help you better understand where the emotion and trauma is stored within the body.
Fascia is a connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, organs, nerves, and blood vessels throughout the body. It’s made mostly of collagen and plays a crucial role in movement, stability, and structural integrity. Think of it as a web-like sheath that holds everything in place while allowing flexibility.
Fascia can become tight, restricted, or inflamed. We can also look at fascia as a web of quantum electromagnetic communication that encases and surrounds every cell in our body. Primary communications system and secondary our nervous system.
All emotions act as magnetic fields within it, these fields are stored in the semiconductor network in the fascia. So when emotions get stuck they get stuck in the fascia blocking the eletron supply to the cells.
Then the physical symptoms begin chronic pain, inflammation, weight gain, nerve issue, anxiety, stiffness, tightness and more.
How Trauma Affects Fascia
Fight-or-Flight Response – When the body experiences trauma, it tenses up as a protective response. If this tension isn’t released, it can remain stored in the fascia.
Restricted Movement & Blood Flow – Fascia tightens in response to stress or injury, potentially leading to reduced circulation, stiffness, and chronic pain.
Neuromuscular Connection – Fascia is intertwined with the nervous system, meaning past trauma might be "remembered" in the body, triggering pain or tension when certain areas are touched or activated.
Releasing Trauma from Fascia
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on therapy that focuses on the Craniosacral system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, cerebrospinal fluid, and surrounding membranes. The idea is that subtle manipulations of these structures can help release tension, improve nervous system function, and promote self-healing. Pracitioners such as myself are also trained in somatic emotional release which work with CST.
Energy Healing - Energy healing such as Reiki can help the release of emotions from area of the body and work on the spirtual aspect of trapped emotion. I find sometime the issues is negative attachments or cord from previous partners or connections that can cause the problem with the fascia. Blocked chakra can also be part of the problem or past lifes . So combining energy healing with CST can work on those additional issues that can arise.
Homeopathy - The Magic of homeopathy on its own is incredible but combined with CST for trauma, chronic pains, anxiety, depression, nervous system issues etc is a power house of magic. Homeopathy work with the individual looking at there overall picture of health and giving a remedy that matches that overall state to create self healing on all levels of health.
All the options above work on the own in some way but when combined I have found it extremely powerful for trauma/ emotion trapped within. It gentle and allow the body and inner widom to guide how the release will happen. The inner wisdom will never do what you cant handle, trauma is never relived.
Ofcourse like everything in life we are all individul something completely different is required. Some other options included
Certain types of Breathwork such as the transformational breath I provide
Other option I do not provide but can help shift Fascia.
Myofascial Release (MFR) – Gentle, sustained pressure on tight areas to encourage fascia to soften.
TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) – Uses body tremors to discharge deep-seated stress.
Spinopractia Fascia Massage - Painful but sometime you have to meet the resistance to shift things.
