Alopecia is a medical term that refers to the partial or complete loss of hair from areas of the body where hair normally grows. It can affect both men and women and can occur for various reasons, including genetics, autoimmune disorders, hormonal changes, medical treatments (such as chemotherapy), stress, Thyroid conditions, nutritional deficiencies and certain skin conditions.
Androgenetic alopecia (male or female pattern baldness): This is the most common type of hair loss, typically characterized by gradual thinning of hair on the scalp in a specific pattern.
Alopecia areata: This is an autoimmune condition where the immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles, leading to sudden hair loss in small, round patches on the scalp or other parts of the body.
Alopecia totalis: This refers to the complete loss of hair on the scalp.
Alopecia universalis: This is the most severe form of alopecia, characterized by the loss of all body hair, including scalp hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, and body hair.
Over the past year I have been seeing quite a few people with alopecia different types and have had success in supporting them regain hair growth and sometime completely regrowth of hair. Some of these cases are early stages and it does require at least one year plus as hair grows slowly.
The first thing that I do its figure out any underling cause as it important to support this underlining cause as well.
Did you know that stress you had 3 months ago is the reason your hair is falling out now. So it not an immediate thing it something that happens 3 month later.
Then what I do is use a constitutional remedy to support your body in rebalancing, A remedy to stimulate hair follicle growth and whatever you need to balance the underlying cause for underactive thyroid we may use some functional nutrition for nutritional issue we would address diet, Gut issues we would heal the gut and so forth.
Once rebalance and issues are addressed you then stay on the Hair remedy ongoing for one year or more no longer needing to see me regularly just reordering the follicle stimulating remedy.
